  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Drain navy beans and reserve 1 ¼ cups liquid.
  3. In a skillet, fry bacon until browned. Remove bacon and leave half of bacon drippings in skillet. Add onion and cook until softened and translucent, 7–10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and reserved liquid from canned beans.
  4. Pour beans into a 3-quart baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
