Instructions

  1. Place cucumber spears in a clean 1-quart canning jar.
  2. In a saucepan, combine remaining ingredients. Simmer until sweetener and salt dissolve.
  3. Pour warm brine over cucumbers to fill jar.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 4–5 days before serving. Pickle flavour deepens over time.
