Traditional Lemonade

Serves: Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 16 sachets SPLENDA® Low Calorie Sweetener
  • 5 cups cold water
  • 1 lemon squeezed

Method

Squeeze lemons over fine mesh strainer into measuring cup. Discard pulp.

In large jug add lemon juice, SPLENDA® Low Calorie Sweetener and cold water. Stir. Add lemon slices.

Pour into chilled glasses over ice.

 

 

Lime Variation: Simply replace fresh lemon juice and slices with fresh limes.

 

Notes

This recipe, when compared with a traditional recipe has a 34% reduction in kilojoules, a 44% reduction in carbohydrate and a 45% reduction in sugars.

Tips

- This recipe can be sweetened to taste; just add more SPLENDA® Low Calorie Sweetener.
