Lime Iced Tea
Lime Iced Tea
Serves: Serves 4
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Ingredients
- 2 limes cut into slices
- 1 tablespoon or 2 teabags mint tea
- 1 sprig of thyme
- 1 tablespoon of sliced ginger
- 1 litre boiling water
- 1 tablespoon SPLENDA® Granular
- lots of ice
- Garnish: 4 lime slices
Method
Put mint tea, thyme, ginger and lime slices into a teapot. Add SPLENDA® Granular.
Fill teapot with boiling water.
Cover and steep 10 – 15 minutes. Strain the mixture.
Add ice and stir well to let it cool down.
Pour into four glasses; add garnish and more ice at discretion.
Serve immediately.
Tips
- Lime slices could be replaced with orange slices
